Martin Sheen ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Produzent und Regisseur. Er wurde am 3. August 1940 in Dayton, USA geboren und spielte im TV-Film L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables die Rolle des Matthew Cuthbert. In den Nachfolgern L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables: The Good Stars und L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables: Fire & Dew war er ebenfalls in der Rolle des Matthew Cuthbert zu sehen.

Sheen ist das Kind der irischen Einwanderin Mary Ann Phelan und des spanischen Immigrants Francisco Estevez und heißt eigentlich Ramón A. G. Estévez. Er heiratete am 23. Dezember 1961 die Schauspielerin und Produzentin Janet Templeton. Mit ihr hat er die Kinder Emilio Estevez, Ramon Estevez, Carlos Irwin Estévez (auch bekannt als Charlie Sheen) und Renée Estevez, die alle ebenfalls Schauspieler sind.
